Its a Celebration March!!!

Wah...its been a long long while folks since we last said hello to all!

We have been busy...yah really busy with growing up. So much things to learn, play and enjoy. Of course everybody is so glad that March has finally arrived which means we are celebrating daddy's birthday and our very 1st Birthday too!

This is the first time we are cheering for Daddy on this birthday as last year we did cheer silently and violently inside Mummy's stomach..hehee

Hmmm why is Daddy's birthday cake so small and boring...ehh..

Ok, Daddy says to take a group photo....it is always a challenge to coordinate a group photo for both of us.

Okie its been a very very long while (counted in years) since Mummy & Daddy had a good buffet session. So taking the opportunity and courage (imagine if halfway either leroy or lucas refuse to sit or behave) Daddy & Mummy will be crying their hearts out because all the food "can see but cannot eat". Hmm since this is our very first buffet outing and with the presence of grandma, we did perform well and the adults manage to eat and eat for almost 1.5 hrs. Mummy was relived at the end and was glad to have her fave mee siam @ goodwood park buffet. Now they are crossing fingers if we will behave the same @ Hard Rock for our birthday :-)

Finally, we bid good bye to 2008 and gladly welcome 2009!

This new year means that we are turning ONE year old very soon...hmmm..counting down it is only barely 3 months away from our BIG day! Wonder what Mummy will have inplan for us?

In the meanwhile, mummy notice that as we grow older, both of us seems to look more and more alike interms of our outlook. Hehee..no wonder, grandma has been calling the wrong name. Luckily we didn't end up getting bathe 2 times..... As for Mummy, she is still pretty much sharp to differentiate whos whos...

However, our character is really of 2 different person. When mummy has more time, she will share with you more on this as now we are tearing her hair apart with our daily activities. Oops...her hair is really dropping more and more....poor mummy!

Inventory Assistants

If you think that we are a set of 9 months old twins, who only knows how to eat, poo, sleep and play....then you are very very wrong.... Infact we are mummy's capable assistants.

We must have inherited Mummy's genes as she has been handling alot of inventory control matters in her previous jobs.

Basket...

Lately, grandma bought a small basket to let us keep our tiny mobile toys so things are more organised although we still end up "emptying" everything to the floor. However, we are more interested in the Basket rather than the contents (toys) within it. Both Leroy & Lucas just could not keep their hands off the worthless basket. Do not underestimate the wonders of this basket can do. A picture tells you a thousand words....

Leroy (right) : Hmm...how much does the basket cost huh?
Lucas (left) : Let me see leh... Huh...so cheap!

Lucas (left) : Yah lah...I know numbers ok! Mummy got teach me...

Blue Riverview

Interesting enough to know that although we are staying in a HDB estate, lately our estate has been renamed as "Blue Riverview" and a huge signage bearing the new name has been builded just right infront of the estate entrance. Alot of people nearly mistake this as a condo estate.

How did "Blue Riverview" derived out of nowhere? Well, the fact is our estate is facing a river named "Sungei Sembawang"... nope..folks don't ever tell us this is a "long gau / drain"... A "long gau" will dry out and smells....but our dear Sungei Sembawang does not.... Infact this is quite a happening river as well, come very weekend (provided that it is not raining) there will be alot of people fishing here. Some even went to the extend of going into the river to catch the fishes and over a few occasions, we did found some weridos doing boat rafting (with their boat float) in the river.

Both Leroy and Lucas love to pop into their bedroom window (thank god that we have a full length window) and spend time enjoying the river view. There are interesting flying silver fishes that constantly pop up from the river during good weather days. Lately the river seems to be in emerald green colour too. There are also many interesting birds (white colour/blue colour/yellow colour...) that we constantly spot catching fishes from the river to fill their stomach!

We just never get bored staying here....

Lately we have been keeping the adults in the house real busy! Our hobby is "throwing" things on the floor, especially our toys. There they pick up, here we throw..heheee..

We are definitely proud of our abilities and its a good hand exercise too for the adults, don't you agree?

Amazing Race (Road Block)

Mummy is a fan of the Amazing Race series so are we..Hehhee! Well our Amazing Race is happening just right within our house. Everyday, we sit in our walker and begin our quest within the house premises. Thank god that Daddy & Mummy bought the Sembawang Flat instead of the Sengkang / Punggol ones...otherwise we will end up feeling trapped within the given space.

We love to explore every corners of the house especially places that are forbidden excites us most. We have been warned and forbidded to enter into the kitchen and balcony premises. All fan zones are kept off as well since we are always so amazed by how did the fan panels spin bt itself ...hmmm....

Mummy came up with the idea of using "Road Blocks" to corner off all the restricted zones. By placing the mats at the specific areas, we have been kept out of bounds to all the above mentioned areas. That explains why these ABC mats are also known as utility mat to us cause it can serve many purposes as long as you can think of it.

Mummy thought this is one of the cheapest and brilliant idea to do so....while both of us are keeping our fingers cross to see how we could think of new solutions to explore the restricted area. *grin*

Okie, its been really awhile since we last update our development. We have indeed kept our caregivers (Mummy and Grandma) real busy with all our "growing up" gigs. Now that our X'mas wish is REALLY coming TRUE and you know what we meant if you are a follower of our humble blog. YES.... All I Want for X'mas is my "2 FRONT TEETH" is really happening for both Leroy & Lucas. Oh men..... can you imagine those torturing nights that we have been grilling our dear Mummy and Grandma. What to do??? Our gums are sore and painful and it hurts so much that we could not sleep well. ..... thus we got to "seek attention" from the adults then!!! That explains why Mummy could not keep the blog updated all the time cause she is overworked, underpaid, sick and cannot take MC.......and worse still cannot call it QUITS!

Hmm...that will be all for now, we can't wait to celebrate our very FIRST christmas...Ho..Ho..Ho..Santa Claus is coming to town.

Advertisement Addicts

We are absolutely die hard fans of advertisements (Mummy term us as Advertisement addicts). Well not too sure if we do share some of genes of Uncle Ivan as we are pretty much interested in visual communications huh!

Our top 3 favourite advertisements currently are as follows (Both Leroy & Lucas shares the same sentiments)

1. Nippon Paint

2. KFC - Chickee Club

3. Mediacorp Advertising

Believe it or not, the moment any of these advertisements are on the TV, we will make our way wherever where we are in the house to catch a glimpse of it. Once Lucas was bathing, and the Nippon Paint advert was on, he overheard it in the bathroom ( as it is just next to the living room), no matter how Mummy hold him, he will still make way to tilt his head to catch a glimpse of it via the door view. (Mummy ... shaking more head...sigh!)

We also love to watch the news. Okie we are pretty much selective of what we watch folks, we are only interested in the Stocks & Shares section and the Weather reports (Mummy says we are interested in "numbers" since both of these features displays lot of numbers).

Sigh, considering we are both only 7+ month old infants, TV has already occupied part our life!!! Good or Bad.... its for us to to know, for you to think.

Caught in the Act!

Eversince, Lucas has became a "steady walker", he has been driving his BMW around the house like nobody business. Okie, first Mummy was worried, how come they are not moving in their walker, now Mummy is going bonkers chasing after both Leroy & Lucas around the house. Heehee, adults are always in a delimma right!

Lately, Lucas has started to venture his road trips into various rooms in the house. Of course the first one is his own bedroom which he co-shares with Leroy. Well, apart from the fasincating sights that he gets to view from the full length window (Both Leroy & Lucas enjoys watching the river view), he is also venturing into checking out all the cupboards stuff.

Currently, he is trying to get his hands on the drawers (Mummy is shaking her head now as soon he will be able to "empty" the drawers!!)

Everyday, he will try abit of this skills to try to pull out all the drawers.....Sigh... we know once day this boy will be successful and Mummy will be shaking her head vigorously again!!!

Lucas has started to sprout his first teeth since 6 month old. Check out his little white pearlie... Okie, looks like the Christmas wish could be granted soon huh!

Leroy is not lagging any behind as his first teeth is showing out since 7 month old. As it is slightly visible, thus no photos to show on Leroy yet but Mummy has been singing the Christmas song promptly to them.....lahlahhhaaa...

Finally we reached out 7th month old milestone. We have come a long way if you could see how much we have change from our earlier baby pictures to now ..handsome right? Of course by now, we are starting to communicate more with the adults (making more loud and clear"noises" we mean) and we are definitely more interactive in every sense (okie, "playful" you may call, we will try our means to grab hold of every single thing we can reach, oops Lucas just threw Mummy handphone on the floor...@#%*)

We do enjoy each other company nowadays except when we are sleeping, we really hate to be disturb by each other cries...

Well taking care of us has not gone by any much easier for both Grandma & Mummy... Since now we play harder more than we could sleep so can you imagine our dear caregivers dark eye rings is constantly lingering on their face...heeehe!! Poor mummy was so tired taking care of us that one night she was so tired that she walk right into the wall (*BANG*)while trying to prepare our night feeds. *oopss...sorry mummy*

Now we are on the go to our 8th Month old and hopefully by then we could both sit on our own without the adults assistance as well as looks like Leroy might just start to crawl soon as lately he has been practising his "push up" skills hmmm.....

Trip to Singapore Flyer

Folks, with much envy our very first "outing" (apart from shopping trips) have finally taken off and we were pretty much lucky to get onboard the Singapore Flyer which happens to be Daddy's Team Building Day @ his former workplace.

As none of us have taken the Singapore Flyer before, it was pretty much of a experience even though I know you guys must be thinking what can a 7th month old baby be enjoying in that Flyer??? Well, though it was pretty much of a adult thingy but check out those little kiddies whom had tag along too with their parents. Who says it's only for adults?

Though we must agreed that the Day View from the Flyer wasn't that fantastic afterall... it was more of the construction views that is going on at the IR and the new Financial Hub. Mummy says it was quite a disappointment but then again what could we ask for more considering this is part of Singapore.

Who Am I?

Okie, both Daddy and Mummy had watched Jackie Chan "Who Am I?" numerous times but that doesn't means that they had became more intelligent towards identifying us...hehee..

Most of the time, Mummy is still able to tell us apart except from the following situations :

1. We tend to look pretty much alike when we just woke up in the morning :-)
2. We tend to look alike especially after our bathing

Sometimes, when Daddy comes home from work, he had a little trouble in identifying us as he will tend to ask "Who's that?" "Are you Lucas?", "Are you Leroy?" Hahhaa Daddy, you still need more practice on that.... :-P

The tip of the day in identifying us is via our "voice".... Leroy is the high pitch guy and tends to make alot of "high pitch" noises and trust me it can be pretty loud at times (Lucas hates that especially it irritates him when he is just trying to catch a nap)

We are all ready to SHOP!!!

After 6 months, we finally made our "virgin trip"to downtown and apparently this is also mummy's first downtown trip as well as for the past 8 months she hasn't been hanging around Orchard Road (nope...don't be mistaken she ain't a Centrepoint Kid) Poor mummy, eversince both of us grown quite squeezy in her tummy, she couldn't find the energy and strength to window shop at Orchard Road anymore (imagine 1+2=3). Frankly, we wouldn't say she gets to shop now but at least we all took a breather somewhere further than our usual Causeway Point (okie, that's the only shopping mall we ever been to...)

Well, Mummy says bringing both of us out is always a "challenge" (but we overheard her saying it is like going to fight a war!!!) Hmm, afterall preparing two of us for an outing is already a tiring chore for her (last time Daddy use to wait for her to get ready only, now he has to wait for both of us and Mummy...ZzzZZ..) She has to pack our "barang barang" and please bear in mind that its gonna for x2 thus double diapers, double milk bottles, double clothings etc(that's why she is intending to get a new bag which is large enough to accomodate all these stuff during this shopping trip)......Phew, she has to spend at least 1 hour the night before to get ready all these, hey folks this is no joke! When you are all asleep, she is still slogging away with all the chores and work. When you are awake, she is already up cause we are both early birds. Okie, what happen to Daddy? Well well.....he is almost glue to his PSP or vice versa, or was it just about being Mummy's responsibility handling all these.....errr we ain't in any position to comment further folks.

Okie talking about the shopping trip, we manage to hang around Centrepoint (Robinsons is our destination) only! You know, kiddies shopping patience is short and somemore we ain't interested in what the adults are looking for (okie, we don't mind the toys department though..hehee..) During the 2 hours shopping session, Mummy and Daddy managed to complete their intended shopping list (thanks to Grandma whom has to distract us before we cry out boredom) Woww... Mummy says nowadays shopping is not about window shopping, not about browsing and selecting but it is about "target and shoot"...didn't we told you she says this is like a war. No time to waste, No time for "own time own target", she has to plan what she wants to buy, do her homework and research then head down and move on to her targeted object, if it meets what she wants, the task is accomplished. Well, eventually we only manage to get a soft toy which Leroy likes it alot. Lucas ain't so much interested in that except Mummy saw his eyes brighten up when he saw the Lego racing car displaying just behind the soft toy rack (Okie, folks Christtmas is just round the corner...did you get our hint?)

During the shopping session, yes....there were some unforeseen situations...errr.. like Lucas decided to "make big business"... thank god Robinsons has a Baby Changing Room in the store itself and it looks pretty clean so Mummy was thankful that she could utilise the facility.

Finally, we ended our Shopping trip with a late lunch at the Soup Restaurant at Centrepoint. By the time the adults gets to sit down and rest their feet, we are both worn out and tired but we still manage to con some milk out of the adults before we could allow them to take their lunch.

What a day and it is indeed tiring though the trip was only for a short period (maybe tired in the sense of the adults as both of us refuse to sit in the stroller and wants to be carried and that explains why Mummy and Grandma were rubbing Salonpas gel at the end of the day).

We wonder when will there be another trip coming up....(did we saw Mummy raising her white towel as a symbolic meaning of surrender???)

Evenflo Ultra Exersaucer

Lucas found his 'lost love' in replacement of the jumperoo...

Our new gadget in replacement of that Jitter Buggy (since F1 is over, Mummy has requested for it to be tow away...) is the Exersaucer.

Well, something interesting for a start since this allows us to "bounce" (or rather "jump in Lucas term...) Leroy as usual loves to explore the entire toy and the Exersaucer gives him the freedom to explore all the activity toys on the saucer since the seat can turn on a 360 degree angle.

Lucas on the other hand couldn't wait to get his feet moving and found fun to jump hard as he express his "misses" for the jumperoo.....

Okie, we all know ONE thing for sure Mummy is constantly "shaking" her head as now whatever we grab we will put it into our mouth. The activity toys on the exersaucer definitely met all our requirements on this..hahaa.....

Children's Day - 1st October

This was our very first Children's Day and to add something even more meaningful, it is also Mummy's birthday!!! So there were a total of 3 "children" in the household that will be entitled to the celebration (Leroy, Lucas and Mummy..hahaa)

We have received our Children's Day present just in-time from Mummy & Daddy....and it is the wonderful LG Bumper Mat. Well Mummy has to purchase the largest size since it has to be big enough to allow Leroy & Lucas to enjoy the mat space. She has been debating for quite sometime on the usual ABC mats or the more premium LG mats .. and finally her decision was set. Of course the price for the LG mat was not cheap as far as we are aware, however, we all felt it is worth it and a good investment since Mummy felt that we are getting older and we will be learning how to sit and crawl soon (hehee....) and with the bumper mat, it will be much safer (cause we won't fall and hit our heads) while it will be much better to crawl on this rather than the bare flooring (which we might pick up the dust etc..) Furthermore, we can lay around if we wanna and use it as a playmat intime to come. The map can be easily clean and pack up whenever required and it was so comfortable that Mummy couldn't resist to try it out herself. We finally found space to flip around since the bed is getting too crampy now... and the bumper map has also became our napping zone as well. Cool!!!

As for Mummy birthday, we have to say sorry as we were all not able to go out to celebrate with her since we all fell ill and that includes, Leroy, Lucas and Mummy. 3 in a go was not a good sign, as all of us were down with some flu bugs which we must have caught during our visit to the clinic last week for our vaccination. The only thing that perks the celebration was nothing else but the Awfully Chocolate Cake that Daddy got for Mummy. Hmm....Leroy and Lucas only gets the "see no touch" version.....Anyway, we wasn't pretty much interested in it cause it was nothing by dark coatings of chocolate on it...errr..we were wondering does it taste nice afterall! Not so colourful enough to attract our attention at this moment.

We hope Mummy likes the cake since she is a fan of cakes.....

We simply love the Pumpkin & Sweet Potato Puree that Mummy had prepared for us. I bet a picture tells a thousand words and folks you should have seen that satisfied look on our face right!

Okie, we know we wasn't pretty much gentle during the feeding session and being the nature of BOYS, we end up playing with the food and made a mess out of it. Well, our face wasn't that lucky as we got the puree flying all over. You should have seen that "disapproving" look on Mummy's face!!!

Hey, we wanted more but Mummy says no more.....What to do!!! Well, this is just the beginning of our food journey and we bet you...there will be more messy looks along the way. Hehhee...

It's finger lickin' good

Lately we have been pretty much involved in a new found hobby...Finger licking!!! Oopss... Mummy and Daddy wasn't really impressed with our new skills.

Since we are now eligible to consume some solid food, Mummy treated us to some teether biscuits as we have started to suck our hands, hand towels, toys and even attempted to take in Mummy's fingers while she fell asleep while carrying us. Oh no!!!

Well..well...Yes Mummy did ensure that those snacks wasn't a product from China for at least it is the most scary saga to learn from the news everyday. We were pretty much upset to learn of the situation where alot of other little friends out there has been affected by the milk powder case. Now everyone is asking where our milk powder is made from even when Mummy brought us to the clinic to see the PD, she gave us some sample milk powder and assured Mummy that it didn't arrived from China!!!

Back to the teether biscuits, well it was good stuff that both of us was so busy enjoying it at least for the last 20 minutes. Leroy loves it best and was so engrossed with his new snack while Lucas was abit too excited about this new snack. Though, it was kinda messy when the biscuits starts to melt abit along the way and our little hands and face were sort of stained with the biscuits bits. Hahaha....but we did have fun afterall though we never really get to finish the biscuits cos it never breaks as it was too hard and it gonna takes us a long long time to complete chewing it. Before we could enjoy it thoroughly, Mummy has already confiscated the biscuits..Sigh!

Gearing up for Formula One

Okie folks, we know that the "IN" thing now is the Formula One event taking place this weekend. We have been secretly working on this as well to get gear up and prepared for the big day. Our Business Manager (Mummy) have already shipped in our race car and we have been having our practice sessions to ensure we are both in tip top condition!!!

Check out our vehicle named the Safety 1st Jitter Buggy, it bounces, it sounds, it beeps, it sings BUT....it does not 'move'....Sigh...So sad!!!

We wasn't very happy with this Mummy.... The joke of the day was Grandma ask Mummy if we put in a 20 cents coin, can it move????

Brother Bonding

Sometimes it can be quite fun to have someone to play with for a start. Looks like Lucas is enjoying playing with Leroy's hands and what a delightful day to have both boys having their own fun. Okie we don't always fight for toys folks, we are just a nice bunch of kids that loves to have fun.

Breakouts?

Sigh...lately the weather hasn't been too good and we had some breakouts on our delicate baby skin. Trust us, its really the doing of the weather (though Mummy blames that we tend to rub our faces on people's skin thus the oil and dirt that stains our face made us suffer the breakouts.....) Everyone gets warning from her to ensure that they are "clean"before carrying us...

Well Grandma was kind enough to give us some face care by applying the calamine lotion for us. Hehee...and Mummy was laughing at us for looking so funny like one of the Teochew Opera character. We hope the breakouts will go off soon ....

We miss you JUMPEROO!!!

It's been barely a week since you are gone and both of us are extremely sad (see Leroy sad look above). Life is so boring without you. Lucas miss the jumping jack sessions while Leroy misses all his little friends from the Jumperoo. We can't seem to find laughter anymore... only sweet memories that Mummy catches for us. Sigh!!! Everybody in the household realise that we are not interested in the other toys except you, where are you now....I am missing you so much. Looks like Mummy ain't going to bring you back for us as she says that we should just move on to make friends with other toys.

We hope we will get over you soon....we really hope. Lucas is finding ways to "jump" and he got scoldings from Mummy whenever he tried to practise his jumping skills while drinking his milk milk....Leroy finds that the activity toys from this existing walker boring...he misses the Parrot and the Frog from the Jumperoo..... We will definitely recommend you to all our little friends out there and you can count on us to give you a 5 stars rating for being such a wonderful toy. We can jump, we can mingle with all the activity toys, we can sit on it and day dream abit....

Mummy did get a replacement for us....but that's another sad story to talk about. We shall tell you more soon......

Morning Exercises

Each morning (except Tuesday & Friday - cause Aunty Lena comes to do house cleaning) Mummy will put us to some morning exercise routine.. Well, exercise means letting both of us do some stretching and flipping exercise on Mummy and Daddy's Sealy queen size bed (eerrr... frankly speaking it seems that now the bed is getting too small cause once we are in, only either Mummy or Daddy gets to lie on it)

Mummy will also let us take turns to play in the FisherPrice Rainforest Gym which both us loves it so much. We will give a 4 stars rating as a toy review.

The Gym is so colourful by nature and it trains our hands and legs mobility. Leroy loves to grab all the hanging activity toys while Lucas loves to spread his arms and laze around on the mat watching all the delightful toys.

Sometimes its a torture waiting for each of our turn and of course we tend to get into abit of fight especially when we both wanna get the same toy. Sigh!!! You win some and you lose some, in the end mummy will have separate us so that we won't get into a Cat Fight. Oops sorry brother...

Foodie Time

Yipee.. Mummy made some rice cereal for us to try out for a start before we head on to more solid food experience during our 6th month. Well well.... the rice cereal was not bad judging by our expressions....

Leroy loves to play around with the food... hmmm...Sorry about the mess!

Lucas definitely enjoyed the makan session....C'mon give us more!!!

Mummy says more interesting food experience will be on the way when we move on to the next month. Hehee.... will tell you folks more on that in due time.

Hair Cut Session

Our personal hairstylist (hehee..that's our grandma) has decided to give our hair a trim as they ain't looking too good.

Lucas was more excited about the hair cut session. He was anticipating to get a Tom Cruise or Brad Pitt style...errrr.. (too bad grandma only seems to know Andy Lau, Jacky Cheung ... how!!) So folks, what do you think of my new hairdo??

Well Leroy wasn't too glad about it and was not in a happy mood ..hmm.. check out his grumpy look. Not to worry as he is in good hands with a professional hairstylist, everything will be okie! Is my new hairdo nice?

First Mid-Autumn Festival

Finally Daddy managed to buy us a lantern though it will have to be shared among 2 of us. Can't imagine it was kinda of difficult at our place to buy a suitable one and what we found out when we went downstairs at our place to join in the fun was that there were other kor kors carryiing the same as us. Well, nothing to complain about other wise Daddy would have got us the Hello Kitty version instead of the Ultra-man areoplane. I thnk Mummy would love that!

We were pretty much excited to see lots of "fire" at the park below our place. Kids were busy playing with lited candles, showing off ttheir lanterns and setting fire to some poor patches of grasses and leaves.

We can't wait grow up soon so that we could join in the lovely celebration every year....Hmmm

Lucas was so happy with his new Levi's Overalls that Mummy could not help resisting this handsome boy thus she manage to captured a couple of nice shots of Lucas. Too bad, Leroy is enjoying his beauty sleep at that point of time thus he missed this.

On a warm sunny afternoon, Mummy decided that we have been too lazy lazing around thus she made us do our Tummy time !

Daddy thought we look cute for some picture posing and took a few snapshots. Well, while he was happily clicking away, we have to entertain him abit by giving him a couple of nice postures. This happened to be our all time favourite photo and aren't we soooo cute!!! So brotherly... (wait till you see our kung fu fighting photos, we ain't so sweet sometimes...hehhee, that's why mummy is so scare of us that she has to remove every bits of her accessories and kept..her hair tied up as we are pulling her apart soon, btw Lucas already broke one of her bracelet!!! Sorry Mummy...)

We all had a good laugh especially MUMMY... she have been laughing non-stop and poor Daddy still have no idea what is the "cause" of that. Mummy gave daddy a great make over and to be frank both of us, Leroy and Lucas quite like it with Daddy's retro look. Don't you agree folks!!!

Finally, after so many months (can you imagine we are already 5mths plus...) the blog is alive again. Yippee....all thanks to daddy cos he got a cool laptop (Asus Eee) for mummy upcoming birthday. Mummy has been keeping her nights alive with her birthday present after we went to dreamland ZZzzzzZZ..... (no wonder we noticed those dark circles on her face !!!)

This has been the most happiest moment in my life. My twin BBs has been delivered to our family on the 23-Mar-2008. Leroy was born at 18:59hrs while Lucas was born at 19:00hrs.
